How to lodge an application

Information about how you must lodge certain visa and citizenship applications.
See: Visa Information and Lodgement

The Australian Government has introduced biometrics collection into the visa application process.

All people in Pakistan, regardless of nationality, who are lodging visa applications, will need to attend an Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in person to provide their biometrics. A 10 digit fingerprint scan and a facial photograph will be collected.

It is not possible to personally lodge visa or citizenship applications at the High Commission in Islamabad. Visa or citizenship applications that can be lodged in Pakistan should be lodged at an AVAC.

If the applicant is outside Pakistan the application should be sent by courier to the Australian High Commission, Islamabad to the address below.
