The Australian High Commission is seeking suitably qualified and highly motivated people to fill positions that may become available including Visa Processing Officers, Administration/Interpreter Officers and Referral/Integrity Officers.

People wishing to apply for these positions must submit the following mandatory requirements:
• A statement addressing each of the selection criteria (maximum of 3 pages).
• A brief CV detailing employment and education history.
• The name and contact details of two referees who have recent knowledge of your work performance.
Important: applications that do not specifically address the selection criteria will not be considered.
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interview by the Australian High Commission Islamabad.
Successful applicants will be offered either a short term contract or a one-year contract of employment pending business requirements for each of the specific positions. These contracts may be extended subject to meeting performance requirements.

Access to the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad, where the High Commission is located, has been restricted by the Pakistani Government for security reasons. Access by bus is from the Diplomatic Shuttle Service located on the 3rd Avenue (University Road) from Murree Road (2km from the Convention Centre). An office has been set up at the bus station to sell tickets and direct customers to the bus.
Access to the High Commission on foot or car is either from the Foreign Office gate entrance on Constitution Avenue, or from the Shams gate entrance on Ispahani Road. Access to the High Commission via foot or car is subject to prior entry clearance, obtained from DPD (Diplomatic Protection Department) through the High Commission.
